Stowupland Cricket Club
In September 1967 the Stowmarket Chronicle carried a report that Stowupland had formed its own cicket club and they were negotiating with local farmers for help to construct a ‘first class square’ on the village green, adjacent to an area used as a football pitch.
By 1980 Stowupland Cricket Club where preparing to play their first season on a new pitch adjacent to the Village Hall (Report from Telstar. May, 1980).
