In 2011  a mobile skate park was set up on the tennis courts near the village hall. It had ‘ two bigger kicker ramps, two smaller ramps, a hubba, a grind rail and a manual pad’. The hope was expressed that the plans for Stowupland to have its own permanent ramp would come to fruition ‘really soon’ {Telstar  no.232: May, 2011}
