Wales

Around 1495, a Richard Keble held a messuage, and 1 acre of part of ‘Wales’ in Stowupland – a rental of 4s to Prior of (H)Ingham.

A field near Gipping Farm is called Wales, 124 in the Tithe records. {Home Field (121)}. Although it is not very clear, Wales can be seen penciled in at top edge of this copy of a section of the 1840  tithe map (ECA/Stowupland Tithe details).
