In our archives we have many rough drafts in Ena’s own hand, some of them can be seen here. Some are well labelled but unfortunately others are not. Some may have been for the talks on Local History that her husband Jack gave, others may have been notes she made from lectures they attended.

In some cases we have a rough copy and a ‘best’ version. Occasionally she recycled paper by writing on the back of other correspondence – tantalizingly only givimg us one page of the incoming letter!
