“Museum of East Anglian Life to Food Museum” by Lisa Harris
The museum has been a feature of Stowmarket life for over 50 years. Stowupland Farmer Jack Carter’s collection of old farm tools and artefacts formed the core of the original collection. The Suffolk Local History Council with Jack as chairman at the time played a big part in founding the museum. Collections Manager Lisa will explain the re-branding as The Food Museum and future plans.
