1446: 40s from Marion Fenkele of Gipping, Newton to be buried in the church of St Peter ‘Stowe’ next to the grave of John Fenkele (husband of testator), or outside the church, near the window which my hisband latley made with glass; to the use of the church of Stowe Peter, in repairing the aisle (le heele’) of St Mary there.
