From a copy of the 15th century Thorney Manor Rentals of the Court of John Hotot {HAL/CC2/1/3 – retreived by Neil Langridge, 2022} Geoffrey Maung has a close called Qualmstowe, also a certain piece lying at Aldousmd.

A copy of a 16th century map of the Manor of Earl Stonham by Thomas Ckarke  appears to show a Gallow Way that ran between Broad Green and Earl Stonham Church, though the area in front of the church is labelled The Wallows. {copy of map in SLHG archives, OS map folder}.
