William H. Rogers (b 27/3/1881) and Dora E (b 18/7/1883). They ran a tobacconist shop from their home in Saxham Street. William was a poultryman originally from Somerset.
The 1921 census shows them living in Saxham Street with 4 children who had been born in Somerset. William John Rogers (b.16/5/1908), Cyril Ernest Rogers (b 13/7/1910) and Noel Charles Rogers (9/10/1915) and Marjorie Constance (b. 1915).
During WW2 they took in 2 boys David Kramer (12/2/31) and Alan Kramer (24/2/32)
Cyril worked for the Cobbold’s (Grange Farm) he was run over by a tractor.
