From indenture of 1699 between Crane and Richardson
One close of land called Reedfield, two pieces containing together 13 acres & 21 poles more or less between the highway leading from Mendelsham to Stowmarket towards the North & other lands late in occ of Robert Wiggen towards the South. The west head abutteth upon the land now or late of Robt Southgate in part & now or late of Robt Tyler in other part & the east head abutteth upon the lands now or late of Mr Bewly.
Reedfield Meadow. A close of 3a &1 rood more or less lying upon Reedfield towards the North and upon Pratts Pighle towards the South – the east head abuteth upon the land now or late of Mr Bewly & the west upon the lands late of Lawrence Tyler.
