Zenta Leeks was married to Ray Leeks. They met during Ray’s time in Europe in WW2 and she returned to Stowupland with him. He set up a loom in their home in Saxham Street so she could make items of her Latvian National Dress.

Leeks Bros builders owned a Sand Pit near Creeting Road. Possibly bought from Mr Cubitt and sold to Mr A Porch. A store shed was rented by a Spencer Wilden. 

They owned several vehicles including a Massey Fergussen digger, Bedford vans and motor bikes.

They rented land off the Saxham Street Drift way which was used as a market garden with heated greenhouse and hen houses.
