1939 -School managers included Mr George Carter, Mrs J. Forrest and Mr Robert Wilden
In 1939 the first president of the newly formed Stowupland and Creeting St Peter’s WI was was Mrs Forrest. She is seen here in 1952 with her daughter Mrs Hilda Stearn from Sheepcote Farm who was a later president. The occasion was the handing over of the position of secretary from Miss Abbott to Mrs. Lufkin
In 1938 we have a report that Mr J.Forrest was re-elected as President of the Stowupland District Nursing Association, with Mrs J. Forrest as Secretery and treasurer.
