Aylmer Field

Aylmer field about 9 acres lying upon carthouse Meadow towards the north & the lands late of John Brndlyn late in the occupation of widow Hubbert toward the south. the west head abutteth upon the lane called Mill Lane [Ena Carter assumed this was what was later know as malting Lane] leading from Thorney Green to West Creeting & the east head upon Padnalls Croft
Cart Close Meadow [sic] about 10 acres lying upon the common highway from Earl Stonham to Stowmarket towards the North & close called Aylmer Field towards the south. The west head abuteth upon Mill Lane & east head upon Long Close in part .
One other close called Bucke lying in diverse pieces – about 12a 1r 16p lying upon the common highway leading from West Creeting to stowmarekttowards the north & the land now or late of Sir Robert Broke late in the ocuupation of Martin Robinson towards the south. The west head abutteth upon the lands late of sir Thomas Brandish knt called Mellingfield& the east head upon the lands late of William Sowgate in part & the lands now or late of Sir Rpbert Broke in the other part.
