Padnall’s Croft about 11 acres 10 poles, lying upon Long Close towards the north & the lands late of John Brandlyn sometime in the occupation of Widow Hubbert towards the south. The west head abutteth upon Aylmer field & the east head upon Creakes meadow in part & other lands late of John Brandlyn in other part

Creakes Meadow about 2a 3r 30p lying in the lands sometime of Sir William Soame Knight, afterwards of Thomas Blackerby esq, now of [blank] in part & the lands late of John Brandlyn esq in part towards the east & the close called Long Close in part & Padnall’s Croft in part towards the west. The south head abutteth upon the lands of John Brandlyn & the north head upon the close called Simmes.
10/5/1853 Surrender of land by William Taylor (late of Stowupland, wheelwright now farmer of Combs) to Elias George Bauley (Miller). Tenement or messuage called Fields with one toft or messuage (now wasted called Matthews): also 2 acres of adjoining fields being parcel of the tenement heretofore Padnalls (and other lands and occupiers are mentioned). William was admitted to the property 23rd September 1843.
