Weddings
This group of photos came from the Catchpole archives, but apart from a penciled note on the back of this photo for June 1896 we have no other details. However it is possible it is the wedding of Margaret Catchpole’s parents, Charles and Emma.
Deaths
Norwich Post, on 25th September 1900 carried the funeral report of young Alice Shepherd. She had gone home from school at lunchtime but as she was complaing of feeling unwell she stayed at home. She died at 5 o’clock.
90 children from the Upper Standards of her school attended her funeral together with Mr & Mrs Prentice and teachers Miss Dent and Miss Lillistone.
