Cutting

In the 1841 census and 1851 census George Cutting ( 1776) and his wife Sarah (b. 1781) are living in Saxham Street.  In 1854 the Freehold of their dwelling is being auctioned off with that of Henry Soar and Thomas Cook.

b.1893 in Stowupland :  d. 21st february, 1918. Age 25

He was killed in France and buried in Grave VA5 Roclincourt cemetery, Pas de Calais.

1901 at age 8 he is the eldest son of Harry and Ellen Cutting and living in Saxham Street. he has an older sister and younger sibling.

In 1911 at age 18 he is still living in Saxham Street and working as a farm labourer. His family and the Gyford‘s family were neighbours.

According to Ena Carter  a ‘Bim’ Cutting lived in Shelley’s along Saxham Street in between occupier Len Shelley who died in 1981 and an earleir occupier ‘Mi’ Forsdyke.
