When advertised for sale in 1980 it was described as being  a 2-bedroom oak beam cottage with 2 reception rooms, one with an open fire and the other an old cooking range with bread oven and copper.

By 1984 the cottage had been extended and a double garage added.

Ena Carter gives Len Shelley (b1909, who died in 1981) as the reason for the house name. Previously it was occupied by ‘Bim’ Cutting and before that ‘Mi’ Forsdyke. After the death of her husband Mrs Forsdyke moved to Mill Street to live with her daughter Mrs Cuthbert.
