Inquest into the death of Angela Burrows
In 1898 2 Barn Cottage neighbours had an argument. 61 year old Angela Burrows later died and Mrs Tricker was subsequently accused of causing her death, she was acquitted.
The Inquest was held at a local farmer’s house, Mr Thomas Brame.



3 Stowmarket Doctors were called upon to give their opinions, Dr Harper, Dr. Low and Doctor Hillier. Mr C. J. Gostling, a Stowmarket chemist, also gave evidence as he had supplied her with medicine on the day of the altercation ‘to calm her nerves’. Following the findings of the post-mortem the verdict of Death from Natural Causes was delivered.
