On October 25th, 1873 the Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire Advertiser carried a report on an inquest into the death of 9 week old Edith Betsy Diaper. Her parents were named as Esther and Charles Diaper. The attending physician was Mr John Wilton Sheridan, cause of death was given a suffocation but it was deemed an accidental death.
