A few more Mill Street properties. This is thought to be a cottage known as Domus. The photo to the left was from Ena Carter’s collection and has Mrs Cuthbert penciled on the back.
Mrs Cuthbert’s mother was Mrs M Forsdyke who lived at Shelley’s in Saxham Street.
Jean and Leslie Bloom lived there till 1981 (he was a former marine, maybe) Jean maybe a grand daughter of Mrs Cuthbert.

Is this the property listed in the document designating ‘Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest (Town and Country Planning Act, 1947: Section 30) as being occupied by Mr Cuthbert being 17/18c. One storey and attic, gable w. timeber framed, plastered, thatch. Casements. Plank door. Designated grade III.
