Stowupland Town Lands, 

A substantial area of charitable land was located around  Saxham Street, associated with Town Farm.

From the 16th century it was known as Quardlines. By the 19th century this term as a charitable entity seems to have lapsed becoming then referred to as Stowupland Town Lands.

In 1907 Town farm with 7 acres in the occupation of Charles Garrard. A further 22 acres in the occpation of the exors of James  Meakings.
