With November and Remembrance day just around the corner it seemed appropriate to focus our updates on our war memorials.
Over the last few decades several local people have helped to increase our knowledge of the stories behind the names listed on the memorials. Unfortunately, despite the internet, there are some individuals that beyond their name, parents and date of death we know little more.
Sadly for one soldier from WW2, all we have is a name, we have no family details at all. Do you know anything about John Wilkinson?
