This month we have been busy researching the histories of 3 Stowupland Homes.

The above cottage no longer exists as Jacobs Cottage was demolished in the last century and new bungalows built in its place.

Neil Langridge  has been researching the history behind Uplands . Although it is no longer in Stowupland it was until the 1930’s.

The third property may have been one of the oldest in Stowupland although it doesn’t look like it. Wren Cottage looks more like a Victorian semi and this seems to be supported by the paper trail but it is thought the cottages are much older.
