If you have picked up your copy of SLHG’s  ‘A Brief Look at Stowupland’s Heritage’ you will recognise this view of Holy Trinity Church. The leaflet’s are available at various locations around the village.

If you can’t pick up a paper copy, you can explore the sites online: Holy Trinity Church, URC Chapel, Freemans School, Village Hall, Stowupland Hall, The Crown, The Retreat, Saxham Street, Mill Street and Thorney Green.

Summer is a time for tennis and SLHG is grateful to Margaret Catchpole for sharing some photos of her and her friends ready for a game of tennis and enjoying picnics by the tennis court at the Firs.

At our May meeting, our speaker Kate Jewell gave us a taste of  medieval school days, Jerry’s homework was to write a review of her talk, you can read this in our Newsletter 28.
