The featured image remembers one of our older thatched properties that was demolished in the 20th century. We still have many homes that can trace their origins back to the 14th or even the 13th century though many hide their histories behind a more modern exterior. This building was known as Malting Cottages or Croft Farmhouse and stood at the entrance to Malting Lane, off the A1120
